Cross Country

Athletes participate in distance running (up to 2 miles) over natural terrain. Our workouts focus on improving distance, speed, and stamina. The season ends with a timed 1 or 2 mile run.

Ages

This program is for students in 4th - 6th grade for the current school year. Younger students may be accepted if they are comfortable running at least one mile continuously.

When

The season is in the fall, typically September and October.

Practices

Practices are 45 minutes long, two days a week. Athletes are encouraged to run 1 - 2 additional times per week on their own.
